Poly Life posted on Saturday, 4 May 2013,1:26 pm 2 weeks of sch so far was okay, just that I end sch so late everyday. 1.5-2 hours of transport time from sch to home makes me feel so sian cos I reach home so late almost everyday. So of cos I won't be taking up a cca, even though I wanted to.... Almost all the cca end around 9 plus and most of them are conducted 2 or 3 times a week. :/ Lectures, tutorials, labs, etc, practically all rooms are air conditioned and it is extremely cold... Then whenever I step out of the room, the outside temperature is burning hot.... Hot cold hot cold.... Anyone could get sick easily! Further more, when someone coughs in the air con room, the germs spread and circulate everywhere. The flu virus is spreading like wild fire! Many of my coursemates caught the flu after another! I caught the flu and it has been about 2 week alr, yet after I have seen a doctor and finished all the medicine prescribed, I am still not recovered yet. Worst still, with my sore throat, hoarse and near voiceless voice, I had to make a presentation. Hopefully I get recovered quickly :/ Also, food sold in canteens, cafes, and other food stores in the school are sold so expensively! Cheapest is around $2/3 for a proper meal (mostly chicken rice/ mixed vegetable rice) , $3/4 for noodles and up to $7/8 for other foods... (western food mostly). With a meagre allowance, I could only afford to eat at the rice stalls and hardly could I even save up. |
